Drawn in the classic Harvey Comics/Richie Rich style, Ronald Rump is a spoiled rich brat who coincidentally resembles a certain billionaire president. In this volume, Ronald steals money from charity, throws a birthday party for himself to draw attention from his friend Windy's birthday party, and parties with Vlad the Imposter after Vlad kidnaps his parents.
This could easily be a one note book but Peter Wolf does a great job imitating the classic Harvey style. He also has a great ear for dialogue, imitating the blowhard in chief with perfection. It's simultaneously funny and sad.
Ronald Rump #1 is both hilarious and nauseatingly accurate. Four out of five Rumps.
