Immortal Hulk: The Weakest One There is collects issues 41-45 of Immortal Hulk.
The Hulk is on his last legs when this volume opens, emaciated and depowered, and Joe Fixit is in control of Banner's body. When Gyrich sends the UFOs after the Hulk, can the Green Goliath hold them off in his weakened condition?
Nope.
This volume feels like it was more setup for the final volume than anything else. Like the last volume, it also feels more decompressed than the earlier volumes of the series. Still, it has everything going for it that I love about this run, like grotesque body horror and expansion of the Hulk mythos.
3.5 out of 5 stars. Time to finish this.
